Full analytical support

Ilesol Pharmaceuticals provides third-party analyses from an accredited lab (ISO/IEC 17025) with accredited methods for cannabinoids, pesticides, residual solvents, aflatoxins, and heavy metals.

Even in the unregulated global market, our quality politics calls for constant efforts in our quality management system to achieve the highest level of quality for our final products. We strictly follow all the regulations in the European Union.

Why is third-party analysis important? Third-party testing offers unbiased analytical testing of products. It confirms that all the products fulfill quality standards, desired product parameters, and controls the manufacturing process. These tests are run to indicate the quality, purity, and contaminants of a product. Third-party analysis is important in today’s CBD market because of product quality assurance, effectiveness, and consumer safety.

What are the usual methods in third-party testing?

Our third-party laboratory analysis is provided by the Euroinspekt Croatiakontrola, a regional control agency established in 1991. For identifying cannabinoid profiles, Croatiakontrola uses HPLC/UV-VIS method. For pesticide residues, Croatiakontrola uses a multi-residue method, based on multiple mass spectrometry related to liquid and gas chromatography (LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS), which defines the different groups of chemical pesticides.
Copper compounds are determined with the atomic absorption spectrometry technique (AAS). Mycotoxins are tested using the LC-MS/MS, HPLC, and Elisa techniques.

What are the acceptance criteria for CBD products in the EU?

Some of the acceptance criteria regulations are as follows:

  • Regulation (EC) No. 1881/2006 – Setting up maximum levels for certain contaminants in foodstuffs
  • Regulation (EC) No. 2073/2005 – Microbiological criteria for foodstuffs
  • Regulation (EC) No. 1881/2006 – Maximum levels for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in foodstuffs
  • NN 74/08, NN 156/08 – Guide for the microbiologic criteria for foodstuffs
  • ICH guideline Q3C (R6) on impurities – a guideline for residual solvents
