ISO 22000:2018 Certification Audit Successfully Passed
Ilesol Pharmaceuticals is pleased to announce that on Monday, 4th of April 2022 our certification compliance to international standard ISO 22000:2018 audit was successfully completed.
The audit for the ISO 22000:2018 was carried out by the world-leading certification body DNV.

This certificate represents the crown jewel of the guarantee of sustainability, traceability, and quality of our products. With this, our clients and partners will gain on the value of their brands. New opportunities are opening up in markets like the UK, which came furthest in regulating cannabinoids as novel foods. The standard ISO 22000:2018 implies identifying the plan, operation and maintenance of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS), providing safe products and services in accordance with their intended use; demonstrating compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory food safety requirements; evaluating and assessing customer food safety requirements and demonstrating mutual conformity; effectively communicating food safety issues to interested parties within the food chain; ensuring that the organization conforms to its stated food safety policy; and demonstrating conformity to relevant interested parties.
“The whole idea of ISO 22000:2018 implementation is to improve effectiveness in enhancing the production of safe products and services while meeting applicable requirements. It involves the systematic definition and management of processes and their interactions and achieving the intended results in accordance with food safety policy and the strategic direction of the organization, ” said Marina Cindrić, the quality control and safety manager.
