Snow fungus is an edible mushroom that is commonly grown in Asia and has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years. It has excellent traditional therapeutic effects on skincare, immune enhancement, and disease prevention. Today, it is cultivated around the world.

Snow fungus contains fatty acids, proteins, enzymes, polysaccharides, phenols, flavonoids, and dietary fiber. Its major bioactive compound is Tremella polysaccharide, with potent effects on moisturizing, gelatinous, anti-inflammatory, promoting wound healing, anti-oxidation, anti-aging, and anti-radiation. In the cosmetics industry, Tremella polysaccharide can be used as a moisturizing additive, at 86% reduced cost compared to the traditional moisturizer hyaluronic acid.
