Green coffee extract comes from green coffee beans that have not yet been roasted. Coffea arabica is native to Ethiopia. Green coffee contains polysaccharides, monosaccharides, lipids, sterols, fatty acids, phenolic acids, polyphenols, alkaloids, proteins, free amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. It contains more chlorogenic acid than roasted coffee.

Green coffee may be beneficial for obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, and as an anti-age agent.
